We cultivate nature.

The Wild Patch is a cultivator of native plants, pollinator gardens and conservation land.

Set across 30 acres of pasture, wetland, and upland, our land is a living landscape that we call the best kept secret garden. Our natural habitat is a rich tapestry of colors, shapes and textures that supports an abundance of native plants, pollinators and wildlife – a place of constant movement and beautiful transformation.

We don’t want to keep this beauty to ourselves.

We think that the beauty and resilience of native landscapes can, and should, extend beyond our fields. So our mission is to inspire others who find joy in the natural world to bring the wonder of native plants and thriving pollinator habitats into their own spaces. That’s why we share not only the fruits of our land — native plants, seeds, and seasonal fresh florals — but also our knowledge and passion for ecological gardening and restorations.

We believe in working with the land, not against it.

Our work is guided by a native-first philosophy — prioritizing plants and practices that support biodiversity, ecological resilience, and long-term sustainability. We favor natural processes over quick fixes. A lot of what we sell is grown from the seeds or cuttings of was growing here naturally, on it’s own. We  grow all of our plants naturally, without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. And we design landscapes that evolve and thrive over time using only native plants that belong.

We root cultivation and creativity in knowledge.

As trained horticulturists, we bring both art and science to what we cultivate. Our team holds ecological, horticultural, and gardening certifications from the New York Botanical Garden and the Massachusetts Horticultural Society. This foundation informs everything we do — from plant propagation to restoration planning — ensuring that our work is both beautiful and ecologically sound. Across our 30-acre property, we steward diverse habitats and propagate a wide range of native species adapted to New England landscapes —plants that reconnect people to the land and to the life it supports.
